Peat-free Compost

🌿 Dalefoot Compost is made on a traditional hill farm in the Lake District National Park, blending natural ingredients like potash-rich bracken, sheep’s wool, and often comfrey. They are 100 % peat-free, organic-approved (Soil Association) composts – a sustainable alternative to peat-based growing media that supports organic gardening practices. The wool fibres help with natural water retention and supply a slow release of nitrogen, while the bracken contributes potash, trace elements and minerals beneficial gardening practices.
